What you will do

• Support the following systems and functions:

• Monitoring of the production system & ensuring its performance and stability

• Action on issues reported by L1/monitoring teams. Coordination with L3/vendor team for restoration of any faults

• Trouble Tickets resolution – Resolve day to day customer issues

• Coordination with IT/network teams to resolve any operational or functional issues

• Responsible for answering adhoc requests from various teams

• Analyze the Logs and try resolving the issues, raise issues well in advance and suggest alternative approaches

 

You will bring

• Required hands-on experience on core Java, Spring and REST services

• Strong Java, J2EE and Micro services development experience

• Experience with containers and container management platforms (Dockers, Kubernetes, RedHat Openshift), Good understanding of Jenkins CI/CD, Maven or Gradle

• Working knowledge of DevOps, release engineering and operations approach to automate deployment. Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Fority, SonarQube, and JFrog Artifactory

• Ability to deploy apps to Cloud (AWS/Azure)

• J2EE, Spring Boot & OO Design Patterns, Experience in C / C++ is a plus

• Deep technical development experience on effectively writing code, code reviews, following standard methodologies in code performance and refactoring

• Experience with various source control tools like GIT, Agile development lifecycle methodology, Jira, Safe Agile

• Strong Unit Testing experience with Junit/other unit testing tools

• Experience with relational databases such as SQLServer, Oracle or Postgres. Experience in application profiling and code refactoring

• Experience with development tools such as Spring boot Tools Set (STS), Eclipse etc, Analyze functional requirements and implement them

• Experience with performance tuning, load testing and query optimization

• Ability to collaborate with team members to ensure client needs and expectations are met or exceeded

• Solid ability to research/solve problems, identify a root cause, and recommend and implement a solution

• Telecommunications experience

 

Key Qualifications:

1. B.E (E.C.E or C.S.E) / M.C.A from premier institutions with good academic credentials

2. 5 - 7 years of hands-on software development experience

3. 2+ years of experience in Java, REST and Microservices on Linux platforms

4. Java 8 or 11 certification is a plus
