External Description:

Job Requirements

Perform extensive Independent Quality Reviews of IT test work delivered by the GDC Technology Assurance (GTA) professionals as part of IT Audit and Attestation engagements.
Help evaluate that GTA professionals perform Risk Assessments and IT Audits in accordance with the KPMG US Audit Methodology requirements.
Evaluate outcomes of the Independent Quality reviews to determine and implement learning interventions that may be needed to further enhance the Quality of delivery.
Provide real time guidance through detailed feedback to GTA professionals as may be necessary.
Analyse trends and provide insights that would serve as relevant inputs to the GDC Technology Assurance technical training curriculum.
Stay abreast of firm published Professional Practice Letters and help dissipate information relevant to the GDC Technology Assurance (GTA) practice.
Engage directly with GTA engagement leaders and quality assurers to help ensure the practice plans through and delivers regular and consistent high-quality audits.
Govern the stakeholder feedback process; evaluate feedback periodically to help improve the overall Service Quality for GTA.
Demonstrate integrity, objectivity and professional scepticism.
Build and nurture a positive working relationship with stakeholders.
Share learnings and provide on the job training to junior QMCI team members.
Contribute to the Knowledge Management agenda of the practice by assisting in technical knowledge development and trainings.

Technical skills
Experience in evaluating and testing Process level manual, automated controls and General IT Controls.
Experience in evaluating risks across a variety of IT platforms (including ERPs, UNIX/Linux, Windows, Mainframe, iSeries (AS400), SQL, Sybase, Oracle, DB2 and popular Cloud Hosted solutions)
Hands on experience of industry standards and frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, HIPAA etc. preferred.
Strong understanding of different Industry sectors and business.

Education and Experience
Education Qualification: BE / B-Tech; Post-Graduates (MBA / MCA / MTech)
Certifications like CISA, CISSP preferred.
Work Experience: The candidate must have 4-6 years of experience in delivering on IT Audit and Attestation engagements. Experience in helping drive the quality initiatives for the delivery of IT Audit engagements will be preferred.
Preferred Skills
Flair to be abreast with emerging Technologies like Cloud computing, Agile, Blockchain etc.
Proficient with MS Office suite of applications [MS Word, MS Exec, MS PowerPoint] and Power BI.
