Roles & responsibilities

A Business Analyst performs activities to identify business needs and elicit, document, and manage requirements. A Business Analyst will comprehend the business objectives, challenges, strategic direction, and technologies by working with stakeholders and technical resources, then document requirements to allow for execution of the solution.  

 

Responsibilities: 

• Elicit, compile, document, and manage clear and testable requirements (e.g., business requirements documentation, functional requirements, epics, user stories, acceptance criteria,etc.) by being an active leader, and using a variety of elicitation methods, such as interviewing, workshops, business process, and workflow review 
• Analyze, translate, and communicate business requirements back to development team, through detailed flow charts, diagrams, prototypes, use cases, and user stories 
• Analyze the flow of data and collaborate with technical resources to predict what changesin infrastructure will be necessary as the business grows 
• Build trusted relationships through highly effective verbal and written communication within theeffort (project team, stakeholders, and sponsors), and with leadership
• Perform requirements traceability throughout project lifecycle to validate that solution meets the approved requirements; manage changing requirements and priorities; support the testing process and traceability through review of test cases 
• Maintain skills within the profession that will allow for proactive assessment of effort needs and completing business analysis deliverables 
• Understand, support, and contribute to organization’s strategy and contribute ideas and feedback within the group 

 

Work experience

• 6+ years of experience as Business Analyst (BA) role for Product development/ application development
• Must have worked as a BA for the projects executed using Agile Software development framework
• Creating User Stories, BRDs, Wireframes

 

Qualification

• Minimum qualification required: BTech in Computer Science/ MTech/ MCA/ MBA- Fulltime education.
