External Description:

We are recruiting for an Assistant Manager at Business Tax services team. Working as an Assistant Manager in this team, your responsibilities will include:

• Review of Federal tax returns (standalone/consolidated) and other informational forms as prescribed by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) for US Corporate tax payers

• Review of workpapers for Taxable Income Calculations for federal, state and CFC’s

• Review of international tax filings such as CFCs, and foreign information reporting (Form 926, Form 8858, Form 5471, Form 5472 etc.)

• Review of fixed asset workpaper and depreciation/Gain or loss calculation (Form 4562, Form 4797)

• Review of workpapers related to extensions and estimates • Review of workpapers related to provision calculation •

Assisting team members to prepare for e-file and review of XMLs

• Responsible for providing training on Corporate tax concepts to new hires and coaching tax professionals

• Review tax returns prepared by staff and make recommendations regarding accuracy and tax savings opportunities.

• Manage client’s engagements from start to finish (planning, executing, directing, and completing tax projects). Responsible for monitoring engagement budgets and workflow

• Supervise, train, and mentor staff and New Joiners on tax projects.

• Responsible for managing 4-6 people in the team

• Responsible for development and performance management of the team.

• Proactively interact with client management team to gather information, resolve tax-related problems, and make recommendations for business and process improvements.

• Support the Engagement Manager in pursuits, proposals and engagement reporting.

• Proficient on Go System / Onesource income tax and other Tax Compliance tools.

• Consistently grow knowledge of technology skills, technical skill and soft skills through firm-provided trainings.

• Continuous improvement of team’s performance through critical analysis of feedback received.
